Queen Victoria (1837-1901)- During the early part of Victoria's reign sovereigns were struck only in London. However, as her empire grew other mints were set up to meet demands of currency. This sovereign was struck in Sydney Australia which is marked by the letter 's' above the ground of St George and the Dragon on the reverse. A high grade coin from a time that Great Britains Empire was at it's largest.
