Louis XVIII (1814- 1815 March,  June 1815-1824) - Napoleons military victories made him master of Europe, however the Russian campaign in 1812 was disastrous and led to his abdication in 1814 and Exile, only briefly restored in 1815 after which the battle of Waterloo finally his fight to uphold his power was crushed. Eventually power was restored by Louis XVIII in 1815. This fabulous coin is in a remarkable condition and bears the detailed portrait of the King. The mint mark is A (Paris Mint), and the crowned shield on the reverse is a stunning design. Rare to find in such a quality condition.
