King James I (1603-25) - This magnificent gold Unite portrays the King on the obverse, and the Crowned Shield on the reverse. The mint mark is Plain Cross which dates it as 1618-19 and features the fifth portrait of James. The coin has a nice even flan, and has original lustre. A good strong portrait, and a fantastic coin to add to any collection.
