King Charles II (1660-85) - Admittedly not the most attractive of coins, however this coin is Rare! S3356. Edge inscription XVIII, second bust, elephant below. The most popular of dates with the obvious reference to 'The Great fire of London'. This is the only one of two types of crown struck with the elephant below his bust throughout his entire reign! The coin itself has the expected wear of something from this time in history, however the date, elephant and most of the edge lettering remain.
