The history we have here in the United Kingdom is something for us all to be proud of, and through the many historical wars and tribulations there was always coinage. Our coinage spans from Celtic to Roman, Anglo-Saxon to Viking right through to Hammered, Early Milled and modern day issues. These coins have lived through some of the most arduous times, and some still come through unscathed. If only they could retell the tales of who had used them, and how they'd survived? Is there any wonder so many have a fascination with British and U.K. coinage?
